I finally managed to get a pair of the Superblast 2 shoes. People seem obsessed with them, so they’re pretty tricky to find.

First, I pre-ordered the new colorway in August for early September shipping. A few weeks later, I got an order cancelation email with zero explanation. Then, on a whim, I checked the Asics website, and they had a pair of the Paris colorway that I could order, but it showed out of stock. I placed the order, they over charged me and the order wasn’t listed on my account, but customer service promised the order was ‘in’. They never charged me and the shoes never came. Then, the new colorway was released on the Asics website, and I was able to order and receive those. Yikes… talk about drama.

Time will tell if these Superblasts are super shoes (groan).
